Bonjour. I am Ines Le Bihan.
I focus on developing a unique design language, centered on the user, simple and rooted in functionality. I enjoy connecting traditional methods with innovative manufacturing techniques and technologies.
Connecting things to the internet.
Based in Seattle WA, I am part of Meta's industrial design team. We shape the future of consumer electronics in the emerging augmented and virtual reality industries.
I have practiced storytelling and design alongside Yann Kersalé in Paris, Nendo in Tokyo and IDEO in China. My most recent projects include connected wearables, smart pieces of furniture and virtual reality experiences for companies like Ray-Ban, Htc, Xiaomi, and Samsung.
I hold a Master of Art Degree in Design from l’École de design Nantes Atlantique France. Eager to understand the financial mechanisms behind companies I simultaneously studied law, economy, and management. I hold a Master of Science Degree in Business Management from the Institute of Business Administration, Nantes France.
And chasing discoveries.
I run my own projects, sometimes with partners like Casey Neistat for Pepsico, Louis Vuitton, Ligne Roset, Cinna and Klipsch. When I’m not at the office, you can find me windsurfing, teaching sailing or watching documentaries.
I have been invited to speak and exhibit projects at various venues including the Miami MoCA, the Milan design week, the Shenzhen design week, the Washington State Senate, the Toronto G20, Georgetown and Harvard Universities, the MIT, the DLD conference, the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, the Web2Day, the Microsoft and Staples headquarters.
A couple of years ago the Dove Foundation chose me as their ambassador for the Campaign for Real Beauty. From billboards to television ads and online videos it became one of modern marketing’s most talked-about success stories.
